Even though I was born in NY I grew up with Vargas tortillas. My dad always kept a good supply of tortillas for us and the tradition still remains the same with my family. Each one of my family is a fan of something from Vargas from the chicharones to the cookies they make. The tortillas speak for themselves. Hats off to you!!!!

I'm from Saginaw also I love the bread my family cook tacos every Friday... My kids will not eat tacos if I don't have vargas bread... U have family sends me bread a lot now I heard you can order online now I'm so happy if I can..

LOL, I ate these shell all while growing up and never realize the company that made them! I'm cracking up right now because I'm always in the grocery store looking for that white package with the red and green in it. I heard ppl talking about the Vargas shells and didn't know that they ment the same taco bread we grew up on. lol..so hilarious. it was a staple i never even paid attn to who made it. I honestly think i buy tortilla shells from the store from anyone who has a similar package. I guess now I'll have my fam ship me some of the infamous vargas shells so I can have a taco that tastes right! and i can through the Azteca in the trash!

I have been gone from Saginaw for 7 years and I have people sent vargas taco bread to me or when someone in the family comes to saginaw I have them bring me some back.. This bread is simply "THE BEST"...

I hav been n OHIO fa 5 yrs now, an I hav not found any Taco bread dn here or any/where that cum's close 2 Vargas taco bread. I was born an raised n Saginaw Michigan, an wen my Mother made Taco's we didnt eat nothin but Vargas bread, an wen i do go there, I bring Ton's of taco bread bac, corn & flour, an I hav Family & Friends there UPS me the bread ova nite. I luv they'r Skins too. Lol I got umm hook'd dn here on my Mexican food. Keep doin what cha doin, Goo Vargas. I luv u guys.

I moved to columbus 3yrs ago and haven't had a good taco since I been telling my friends here about them... They don't get it lol but I'm bringing my friend to saginaw this September to try them she will be hooked

i was born and raised in saginaw. ive been to cali,chi town. there is nothing like vargas. my kids refuse to eat the taco bread in detroit. mr. vargas you got the bomb.

I just got a package in the mail of Vargas Taco bread my family sent me. I havent made tacos since I've been gone because I never had the right bread. It came right on time...cant wait to pin some up and eat.....Yea they would do great business if they started to sale all over the States.

I was born and raised in Saginaw.I have been gone for six yrs now and when I go back to visit, I load up on the "Taco Bread". No one here ever heard of actually cooking your bread, let alone pinning them up for the famous pinned up tacos that you drop in the deep fryer. I wish Mr.&Mrs. Vargas would start shipping across the world. There legacy will never die. I miss the smell, the taste, and just walking into the store to buy them. Keep up the great work!

I am originally from Saginaw. I have lived many places such as NC, CA, IL, and now in GA. I can honestly tell you that there is nothing like Vargas Taco Bread. Every time I go home, I stock up at least 20 to 35 packs (I'm getting low right now). I freeze and use as needed. I always ask Vargas is there a way that I can get them to ship it, and they always say no. Do they know the money that they are missing out on? Anyway, I am getting ready to see if I can get my aunt to ship me some ASAP! My supple is getting a little too low for my taste!

i am also from saginaw,mi and i miss going into the vargas store and just smelling the fresh tortillas when you walk in the door. i cant believe im in california and can't find a decent tortilla i wish they would also do mail order they would make a bundle on me alone;)

I'm from Saginaw and I love Vargas Tortillas AKA "Taco Bread" in Saginaw, MI. I had my cousin mail a few packs to me. I ate tacos the day they arrived in the mail and then I froze the other packs for later consumption. They are the best when you buy them fresh from the bakery when they are still warm and use them the same day. When I close my eyes and think about the frseh tortillas I can smell them....LOL. They are really Good!!! Everyone says that they need to ship them and I agree. Good luck on your quest for some of that good ol' taco bread.

My boyfriend is from Saginaw, MI and he introduced me to the vargas tortilla shells. This is the most amazing taco bread I have ever had in my life. I have tried so many times to contact the company see how I can order from out of state and has had no luck. I guess I got to hit the highway.
