Top Three Things You Need to Cook Chinese Food

Even with the love of Chinese food, most people are terrified about the idea of actually cooking it. They would rather put all of their trust in restaurants to cook the foods that they want to eat. There are only a few things that you will need so that you will be able to also cook these kinds of foods as it is not difficult. This goes beyond soy sauce and rice. You will also need to have the... Continue Reading

I love this place because of the great local produce that they have. I think that the first reviewer is mistaking this place with another stand on the same street based upon the description, so do not hesitate in going here.

I have never been treated so terribly. I stopped by here with my SOLDIER IN UNIFORM, my baby and me while he was on leave driving a friend's car.

There is a stand with a bell to ring, which I did several times and four open bags of corn, some bowls and a cash box.

After 15 minutes, I started grabbing a dozen corn thinking they were on the honour system and laying them on the table.

A lady starts screaming at me from the building's doorway "What are you doing?" I replied, "Oh, good, I rang the bell several times..." I didn't get to finish asking how much for a dozen when she screams at me "We are closed, can't you read the sign?"

To which I replied, "Well, there is a cash box here, all these open bags of corn, I was going to leave the money in the box." She replied, "She said, there are no vegetables out, there is no scale." (Like I was supposed to KNOW that all those things would be there ??) To which I replied, "Well, I'm not from around here, so given what I saw out....I was going to leave my money in the cash box....." Once again I was interrupted and she said "Well, I'm sure it's empty, so take your money and go."

So I left the corn I had laid out on their counter, flashed her my $20 and left.

I have never been so rudely treated in my life and I'm now committed to telling everyone not to buy there - it's not worth supporting people who are so mean and rude when you are supporting THEM.
