We purchased the summer CSA from Olin Fox Farms in 2010. I was disappointed with the amount of produce that we received. They delivered every two weeks to save gas. I expected a two week supply of produce, but it usually was enough for only one week. It is just my husband and myself. If it were for a family with children, it certainly would not be enough. The quality of the produce was excellent, there just wasn't enough. My daughter belongs to a CSA that has weekly deliveries and she always had more in her weekly delivery than we did in the bi weekly delivery. I love the concept of a CSA, I just expected more for the money. I also want to say that they were very nice to deal with and the produce was very fresh. We really loved the fresh eggs and fruit. I will be shopping at the farmers market from now on. I feel I will be able to get much more for less money.
